US artist From LA, Philadelphia, NY and Chicago Artists including Studio 207 artists Mark Siska, Rafael Levchin, Charlotte Wiesman, Thomas Steiner, Robert Cash , Pavel Nastin, Elena Elbe, Wes Cardino, Elvina Zeltsman, Scott Judy, Brian Ramisch Lauren McElroy, Bruce Philip Bitmead and Christopher Smith.
Opening: October 13, 7-11 p.m. Show runs through Nov 3rd, 2007. By Appointment during the week. Saturdays Gallery Hours 12-5 p.m. Studio 207. Collective Studio Artist Show Featuring International/US and Chicago Artist is part of Chicago Artists Month, the twelfth annual celebration of Chicago’s vibrant visual art community. In October, more than 200 exhibitions of emerging and established artists, openings, demonstrations, tours, open studios and neighborhood art walks take place at galleries, cultural centers and arts buildings throughout the city.

Chicago, IL / Los Angeles, CA – Foundation Projects presents “MONO-POLY”, collaborative monoprints by the artists/designers of the Girl Skateboards’ Art Dump. The Art Dump is a group of like-minded creative misfits who work under the same flat roof in Torrance, California. They are essentially the Girl Skateboard Company’s full-time art department. There are others who flow in and out of the Dump, offering their own abilities from time to time and working in the collaborative environment with the core group. Included on that list of creatives are company owners Spike Jonze, Megan Baltimore and Rick Howard. And other artists including Chocolate Skateboards artist Evan Hecox, Lori Damiano, Thomas Campbell, Chris Waycott, Rick McCrank, Brian Anderson, Marc Johnson, Brad Staba, Andrew Pommier, Edith Abeyta, and Shae Johnson. Alumnus of the Art Dump include, Geoff McFettridge, Kevin Lyons, Michael Leon, Rob Abeyta Jr., Johannes Gamble, Bucky Fukumoto and Bob Kronbauer.

Opening March 31 through April 24, 2006
A photography installation by Pavel Nastin, Kaliningrad (Koenigsberg). In his photography Pavel Nastin uses the cyanotype, pinhole shooting, multi exposure, and digital collage. Most of his images are captured using old Soviet cameras, such as Zenit (1970-80s), Moskva-2 (1957) and self-made pinhole. MetaManga, the grown-up heroine of anime, is photographed living in an absurd exotic environment of former Nazi aerodromes and distorted Soviet-style buildings.

Studio 207 presents a Garden Fresh curated film/video exhibition in open air courtyard, soundscapes by confusement, photography by Mark Siska. Partially funded by CAAP Grant and The Illinois Art Council.
