Office of the Public Guardian

The workshop sponsored by the Office of the Public Guardian Chicago and A.S.T.R.O produced a 10-minute documentary For Richer or For Poorer exploring economic division in the US. Students from Merryvile Academy and students selected by the Office of the Public Guardian participated in the making of the documentary by shooting and asking questions to people on the streets of Chicago. The documentary, along with student video portraits and a text based photo installation was exhibited in September 2001 at Chicago’ s Spare Room Gallery. view video
